I was shocked when I woke up this morning to see the new watches only to find that not only was the Air-King not discontinued, but improved upon! Why is the Air-King unloved? First reason, its price. Yes, for some mysterious reason, Rolex decided to price the Air-King well below its real value. In fact, Rolex was offering a nice gift to the Rolex aficionados, and only them were able to recognize the gift and took it. The others snobbed it and just missed it.The Air King has a good bit of heft and has great wrist presence but some Omega watches are thicker again without a Faraday cage, check the specs. Rolex will probably slim it down next time but they couldn’t in 2016 when it was released.
