Mon Guerlain (EDP) has a much more prominent lavendar note with equal parts dense rich vanilla, sweetening as it dries down. The lavendar is not herbal or aromatic, it's more soothing/soft/calming. I absolutely love it. It shares some similarities with Goddess but maybe as distant cousins. Which do you prefer and why? I’m sampling both right now and they’re very similar to me (as expected). Mon Guerlain feels softer, more subtle and sensual. Goddess is a bit fresher and modern, not that it’s a good or bad thing. Mon Guerlain is a gorgeous scent, one of my all time faves, but it doesn't smell like Goddess. Yes, they share notes of vanilla and lavender, but Goddess is much lighter and muskier floral. MG is darker and sultrier.

Even if they dissected the trio of distinct vanillas in a dozen ways and squeezed the very soul of the bean amid the lavender Diva field among the pride of lionesses (which is the perfume's spirit animal), the fragrance doesn't smell bigger than its famous prototype, Mon Guerlain, nor anyhow new. Goddess Eau de Parfum comes in Burberry's first-ever refillable bottle, with gold, goddess-like accents adorning the square glass. What's more, it comes in three sizes — 1 oz. for 0, 1.6 oz. for 9, and 3.3 oz. for 8— that you can find online and in person at Sephora.
